Back in Black
Get up right now! You're
missing out! I mean it! There's a brand new collection out now in all
the best shops and where are you? I'll tell you, you're sat at your
computer geeking out when you could be getting all dressed up in the
best clothing there is and hitting the town.
We've really done it this time! It's sexy, it's wearable, it's unique.
Plus there's something for the boys too and we don't just mean how good
the girls look in it. We've got a healthy collection of superb mens
garments that'll make people sit up and take notice. Check
out the Cratos hoody, bet you haven't seen one like that
before. Oh and how about a pair of trousers that aren't designed for
noodle legged eunuchs?
And ladies? Where else are you going to find such class and style with
out spending all your beer money? Already the new must have is our
Alcis Coat in super soft sweatshirt fabric, you don't have to
compromise between gorgeous and freezing cold. We also have to mention
the Ancasta shirt dress, wear with caution, this one's a hot one folks.
This one puts meaning to the words 'head turning'.
Check our wonderful stockists here. Head on down to your local one and
give yourself some happy time. There's also a couple of brilliant
online ones if you want to beat the crowds. As usual, if you can't find
it in your town, then head on down to your favourite shop and ask them
why not. Go on, annoy them until they start stocking what you want.
Why are you still reading this?

Necessary
Evil Alternative Clothing - Launch Party!
Somewhere
between the dark pub packed with sweaty metal heads and the small
catwalk of
sexy models clad in the latest in cutting edge dirty rock clothing, the
Necessary Evil clothing range launch party got filthy. you had only to
run your
finger through the thick black atmosphere and watch the pure goth drip
off in
grimey chunks to know that this range wasn't made for the faint of
heart. but
before you have a kick arse party brimming with scene celebrities
you've got to
get all the right elements thrown in the boiling pot; such was the job
of Kate's
Clothing's Kelly Sabrina, AKA Sabrina Sixxx. Let
it not be forgotten that although the main focus of
the
party was the launch of the range, a small note was directed toward
Kelly
Sabrina, celebrating her 21st birthday, and as anybody who was around
for the
breakdancing wang-dangling stripper can tell you, Kate and mates really
know
how to break in a celebration.
The
venue was easy enough to
select; somewhere big enough and
scary enough not to crumble at the
sight of
350 adrenaline/beer fueled mettalers while still holding up the sleek
mysterious image of the brand itself. the newly re-housed Intrepid Fox
fit the
bill on all accounts, boasting a spacious downstairs main bar fit for
the
rabble and an enclosed but in no way small upstairs for the more
private
catwalk showing it was the perfect venue for the dressy carnage that
was to be
unleashed.
And what carnage ensued; after a
heavy session of alchohol intake and a small but punchy introduction
from
Master of Ceremonies Oisin Hendrix, the chosen band for the night, Nemhain,
set
the tone with their sleazy thrash rock stylings. Fronted by the
gorgeous
Morrigan Hel with the accomplished rythym of Adrian Erlandson pounding
the
skins, the roof was truly raised by the energetic four piece and the
set was
brought to an epic close with a masterful cover of The Misfits 'Die Die
my
Darling' ending with a power truly worthy of representing the range.
A short break in acts followed.
Some more heavy drinking and one of the many Kates Clothing
representatives
handing out some excellent free-bees (including a truly classic glove
of claws
and chains, still in my possesion) saw me walking around the venue on a
small
bout of scene spotting; the notorious Crusher had made his appearance,
so too
had the australian cybermetal possie 'New Project', and a true armada
of Models
and D.J.'s recognizable by their frequent appearences in various alt
magazines,
all being snapped masterfully by esteemed alternative photographer Andy
Belladonna. Of course, we all know what they say about every
great man,
and
true to form standing at his side was the beautiful Sam Belladonna.
I managed to catch up with the
pillar of the Kates/Necessary Evil Gothic Clothing
range, Kate herself for a
quick
pint and a punch in the face before rushing back off for the fireworks
display
that was to be the fashion show. With a blinding flash of excellent
soundtrack,
the catwalk was taken over by the hottest models in the freshest
outfits
burning with originality; Rockworlds Lenore, Section 8's Princess
Alice,
Necessary Evil catalogue regular Lady Lazura, Kates Clothings own
Rohaise, the
gorgeous Charlotte, Dave of Bordel and N.E. catalogue and Xero of
Devolution,
all strutting their sinister stuff in the launching brands powerful
range. A
show not soon forgotten by any of the drool soaked audience.
So that was that; when the bar
was drunk dry, the models and band had tantalised every sense available
and the
birthday cake had been retrieved from behind the bar from a very
watchful Nick
the barman, the only thing left to do was take down the masterful
decorations
distributed by our excellent designer Molly and salvage what little
souveniers
we could from the white rose petals stamped rythymically into the
floor. All in
all, i'd say the entire event was a hardcore screaming success. Like
every good
orgasm, it's was pounding, came in several waves, and left a hell of a
mess to
clean up... our apologies to everyone at the intrepid fox, we never did
work
out quite how to keep a lid on things.
